September 8: Livermore Cattle Ranching, Maintaining Old Traditions in Modern Ranching

Taylor Archuleta, Plasnik Land and Cattle Ranch Manager (formerly Lone Pine Ranch)
Our mountain traffic jam… you are witnessing an old west cattle drive. In early summer and fall cattle are moved up and down the road by cowboys and cowgirls on horseback to graze from Livermore all the way up through Dead Man, Prairied Divide and beyond. It’s more than a cattle drive as every animal is born, raised and finished on the ranch using regenerative practices. It’s a Field to Freezer operation!
