Glacier View Meadows (GVM) has many greenbelts that are accessible to all Road & Recreation (R&R) Association members that are in good standing.
We also border on US Forest Service land. The location of these “community facility” areas is shown on the GVM map.
Many of the lots in GVM have been platted with easements that allow pedestrian access to the greenbelts and Forest Service land. Some of these easements and recreational areas have been defined as trails, and others are awaiting development.
Trails are a volunteer project, coordinated by the Ecology Team. There are no staff resources used. Their quality and extent are dependent on generosity and creativity, and the willingness of the members to provide adequate funding through the R&R dues structure or contributions.
Residents of areas surrounding areas join with members of GVM to do all of the trail maintenance. If you’re interested in helping to maintain the trails, please email Linda Petrie at lspetrie@gmail.com. Help is always appreciated.
During the spring, summer, and fall when weather allows, we meet on various days of the week and some Saturdays . Trail signs were updated in 2019.
** Pets must be on a leash when using the GVM trails. **
There are eight trails in the System.
