The Demonstration Garden is preparing to rest for the winter.

The blooming flowers have been deadheaded, the leaves have been raked, the last of the growing season’s “weeds” have been cleaned out.

Beth Lyne and her volunteer crew have retreated to the warmth of their homes and cabins to dream of next year’s growing season. Already we hear murmurings of what they’re planning.
